Ilke Usluca

Ilke Usluca has been a successful multi-product designer and maker in the fashion industry for over a decade. Specialising in print and fabric design, weaving and clothing production, garment construction and sewing, it was Ilke’s sustainable and innovative colourful bamboo silk prints with eco-friendly inks that captured the imagination.

Holding an MA in Textiles at Chelsea College of Arts, London and a BA in Textile & Fashion Design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Istanbul, it was during her time at Chelsea College of Arts, that she specialised in sustainability and zero-waste textiles, going on to work with many high street names including Mango and Asos.

Fun fact: Ilke was the designer behind Kylie Minogue’s striking red boiler suit that she wore for her Golden Tour and Pyramid Stage Legends slot at Glastonbury Festival, 2019.
